WELCOME SUMMER RESIDENTS!

Welcome summer people! Since the beginning of June, we've noticed that the store is livelier and books are flying off the shelves. We're so glad that you're here and glad to see that you still love books!

We have some exciting summer signings that we'll be telling you about soon. Meanwhile, come check out all the changes we've made since last summer. We have some new sections and we now have an official "hall of used books." (Ask about our used book trade program, it might be just what you need.) 

We've been reading all winter so we can make good recommendations to you. New hard cover books are all 20% off and paperback best sellers are 10% off. (We take a lot of liberty with that "best seller" heading. Basically, we have a lot of trade paperbacks that we want to recommend and sell to you at a discount.) 

Our children's section has grown and we now stock over 60 different series, as well as all the classic "stand alones." We have recommendatios for boys and girls of all age groups, and we love helping you find a new series -- just what your summer needs!

Our yarn section has grown in size and we are fully stocked and ready for knitters, and we've got some new ideas for summer projects. We've also added a spinning section and spinning classes!

Sorry, I know that's a lot of exclamation points, but we're really happy with our current incarnation and excited about sharing it all with you. And, as always, we have a highly knowledge and friendly staff, just waiting to help you out.

My blog has a lot of unique content I've either created myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you know any ways to help protect against content from being stolen? I'd genuinely appreciate it.
