One Nation Under a Demonic Spell
We have no right to utter the words "God bless America" ever again if we elect this man for our leader.
Andre McCarthy has a very good article explaining what 45% of voters are hell-bent on ignoring. It begins with an Obama quote that I wish the RNC would start plastering on posters, bumper stickers and campaign buttons right away. (Actually, there's a very good bumper sticker here.)
There wasn’t any question about what was happening. The abortions were going wrong. The babies weren’t cooperating. They wouldn’t die as planned. Or, as Illinois state senator Barack Obama so touchingly put it, there was “movement or some indication that, in fact, they’re not just coming out limp and dead.”
Obama voted for the non-"limp and dead" babies to be thrown on a tray in a soiled utility room and left alone to die. How many months ago did I first type those words? Thank God the truth has finally found its way through the Great Wall of Media Adoration and Ensuing Mass Hallucination.
One more thing. I hear from Jesuit friends that the Jesuits who have made Social Justice their primary God have been walking on air ever since their new messiah clenched the nomination. There is no word for how much that fact disgusts me. And a note to Obama Jesuits: don't bother ranting in my combox. Your problem is not with me. Your problem is the day you have to come face-to-face with St. Ignatuis of Loyla. Not to mention the God whose first commandment is that you have no other Gods before Him. Which includes both the God of Social Justice as well as your new baby-killing messiah.
If America elects this depraved, disgusting, demonic charlatan because of his dazzling smile, swanky suits, and skin color, or because of his Robin Hood promise to steal from the rich and give to the poor, thus turning the American Dream into a ridiculous waste of time and energy...
If we elect a man who voted to throw a living babies into trash bins, while he and his wife were busy hosting a dinner to raise money to defeat the ban on partial birth abortion...
If we tell God that these are now our values, at the same time that we are either actively working for or idly sitting by as crosses and nativities and menorahs are stripped from public sight and the ACLU is working hard to remove "In God We Trust" from our currency...
If this is who we are now?
We deserve no protection whatsoever.
We deserve whatever happens to us.

It's going to be interesting to see how everybody reacts to the outcome on Election Day. To say the least.

Very scary. God help us remember what our value are and stand up to protect innocent life.

How will this man protect and defend America when he has made it clear that he will not protect and defend the smallest, most vulnerable among us...knowing what we know now about this man, based on his own quotes, it would seem to me that even a hard-core atheist would take offense with his stand on abortion survivors...it should not even be a question of faith. You don't have to be a Catholic to be disgusted by what he believes when it comes to abortion. And yet...

We need to pray to St. Michael to protect and deliver the unborn from NARAL and its disciples like Obama, et. al.
I wish "America" magazine would be as solid as Our Sunday Visitor and the National Catholic Register in promoting the culture of life. Maybe someday, however unlikely...
